The architectural office archstudio was founded in 2014 by Danai Athanasopoulou and George Bouses, with headquarters in Chios.

In 2015, the love for the synthetic process and experimentation with construction materials led to the creation of the CONTIVO series of handmade embossed design objects / jewelry, which was inspired from the geometric patterns of the traditional architecture of Chios. Since then, handmade cement creations have been made inspired by tradition, both in patterns and in the use of natural structural colors (indigo, yellow, mint, terracotta, black, white, grey), but with a minimal aesthetic.

The contivo design objects are handmade and manufactured in the workshop in Chios, with cement as the main material.
