Mouriki Greek Premium Honey is a family-run business that has practiced nomadic beekeeping since 1960. Based in Dervenochoria, Voiotia, Panagiotis & Maria manage over 2,500 bee colonies. As modern honey nomads, they travel across Greece—from Messinia to Thassos Island, and from Central Macedonia and Halkidiki to Central Greece, Evritania, Peloponnese, and the Cycladic islands of Milos and Kimolos. Their bees forage in diverse, pristine environments, free from human intervention, allowing them to produce top-quality honey and rare varieties.Their commitment to excellence is evidenced by the numerous quality and innovation awards they have won.

Μouriki Greek Premium Honey support beekeeping as a way of Fine Art, a Cultural Practice, and a Way of Life. This philosophy is reflected by their unique, innovative packaging, where the jars are regarded as Small Greek Art objects .

Maria and Panagiotis , the modern nomads of honey , are the third generation beekepers of Mouriki family , travel 250 from 365 days per year with their bees and with the aim of producing premium , raw greek honey .

Maria and Panagiotis, their creators, chose the name Katharia because it refers to the purity of bee products.
